I'm Carley, and it's probably one of my biggest pet peeves when people totally butcher my last name. I've got a few nicknames, too: Conda, CB, Carmey, etc. If you can come up with a good nickname, I'll let you call me that, but otherwise, you can only call me by my real name, not "Hey you". I was born fourteen years ago on August 29th, and like it or not, I'm a part of your destiny. I've lived in a small town in Michigan for my entire life with not much to do, but I like it that way.

I'm part of WHS's class of 2011. I've maintained at least a 3.998 GPA since kindergarten, which kinda makes me a nerd. I was a setter on the JV volleyball team this year, and I was also a part of the track team throwing shot, disc, and running the 800M. I performed poetry with the Forensics team, placing second in districts, third in regionals, and I participated in State competition at Eastern Michigan this year. I'm a fifth chair flute in the concert band, which doubles as the school's pep band. I'll admit; I'm a band geek. In school, I love classes that have to do with writing. I've got a large amount of school spirit, and I love dressing up for dress-up days.

I'm a hardcore athlete. I was on the JV volleyball team, as mentioned before. I've been playing softball since I was seven years old, and I play where ever they want me, but I like first base. I've ran track since seventh grade; I throw shot, disc, and run distance, as stated before. I play ice hockey. I love, live, breathe hockey. I'm a goaltender, too, and you won't meet another one just like me. I play for the girls 16U Sentinels in Marquette. We won the 2007-2008 MAHA Non-National Bound U16 State Championship, and I was named MVP of the final game. I'm looking forward over the next two years to getting a scholarship to play D-I hockey for University of Wisconsin, University of Boston, or Bemidji University.

I have a very loving boyfriend. His name is Alex, and we've been going out since the first of May. Yeah, I know; it makes me seem dumb to devote a whole paragraph to him, but I just love him that much, and you can skip this section if you wish. The two of us are extremely close, even though we live at least an hour away from each other. He's my Superman, and he's helped me through many things. I ♥ you, boy.

I've got so many quirks to me that make me different. I'm very superstitious. I eat Corn Conda Pops before every hockey game because I got shut outs an entire weekend because I ate them. I hold my breath and pinch my nose when I pass by cemetaries. I put everything on and do everything from right to left when possible. I'm a camera whore. I dance and sing in my hairbrush when no one's around. I feel beautiful in pajama pants and my boyfriend's sweatshirt. Sometime's I'm skitzophrenic, other times I'm just plain crazy. I like to be different. I'm a Yooper, and I'm proud to act a little redneck every once in a while.

I strongly dislike the Red Wings, but love the Colorado Avalanches, Pittsburg Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, the LA Dodgers, Colorado Rapids, Minnesota Vikings, and the French Soccer Association. I love Sidney Crosby and Joe Sakic, but strongly dislike Dominic Hasek and Alex Ovechkin. I love swedish fish, airplanes, friends, puddles, rain, winter, and dancing. I hate dicky guys, bitches, sluts, mosquitoes, stupidly oblivious people, disrespectful people, heights, spiders, and death. Winter is my all-time favorite season, but I hate fall and spring because it's way too wet or icky. Music is my life; I'd die without my iPod.

I love writing and photography. In fact, one day I want to combine all my passions into my career: a sports photojournalist. I write stories sometimes, but don't ask to read them... I won't let you. I'm not comfortable with people reading what I write, so if I get mad because you look over my shoulder, please don't take it personally. Like I mentioned before, I'm a camera whore. I love to pose for pictures just as much as I love snapping shots of the most random shit ever. I like to take pictures of ordinary things and make them seem different and unique.

I make stupid decisions sometimes. I'm not perfect, although I try my hardest to be. I have my flaws... but doesn't everyone? I don't think I'm pretty at all. I can be bitchy sometimes, but most of the time I like to be laid back and not join in drama. I hate confrontations... a lot. I've only got four major fears: heights, the dark, death, and failure. I feel awful when I let someone down. I've got a lot of secrets many people wouldn't think possible, and secrets that even my best friends don't know about me. I've made bad decisions in my past, but I've learned from most of them.

I know what it's like to be hated and loved. I know how it feels to lose a friend and lose a loved one. I've felt pain so terrible you wouldn't even begin to imagine it. I know what heartbreak is, and I know how it feels to cause it. I know how it feels to be cheated to, lied to, hit, bitched at and I know how it feels to be loved, cared for, looked after. I believe that God saved me, and that He's going to lead me through life. I trust sometimes too easily, but I never forget.
